As an ASHA certified Speech Therapist with 16 years of experience helping pediatrics in the Omaha Area I am thrilled to be opening my own clinic. For 9 years I worked in the educational setting serving children aged birth through 21 in the Bellevue Public Schools with a variety of speech/language needs. During my time in the schools I was privileged to serve a Level 3 behavior program  and received training in managing difficult behaviors. I enjoyed 7 years working at Children's Hospital and Medical Center primarily as an outpatient therapist serving speech and feeding needs for infants and children birth to age 21. I worked closely with  medical teams to meet needs of patients. I performed video flouroscopies to assess swallow function and was a member of the Craniofacial Clinic.

I maintain my ASHA certification, State of Nebraska license and Nebraska teaching certificate.

I opened my private practice in July 2016 so that I could better utilize time with my family. A private practice offers flexibility in scheduling I was unable to obtain in other settings.

I am happily married with 2 children. I am a Girl Scout leader and a soccer coach.

I believe in

-a family centered approach to treating speech, language and feeding disorders

-working with educational and medical teams to provide quality of care

-educating families and communities on speech/language and feeding disorders

-dignity and respect for clients and families

My dream....

My dream to open a private practice began with families and a desire to improve services. I felt that many environments were over stimulating for my patients.  Families endured long check in times. Family concerns could easily be brushed aside where high productivity standards were the focus.
